Time: 2018-08-30 14:24
Take good care of your inflatable units not only will make your inflatable water park more attractive, but also conducive to extending the service life of all valuable equipment.
Now is back to school season and that means the autumn is coming, in many place, the inflatable floating water parks are preparing for the end of summer season. And according to the temperature conditions, some aquaparks have to close until the early summer of next year. After taking out all the floating inflatable structures from the water in the fall, or before installing in the spring, it's a good time to give your water park equipment a thorough maintenance. The inflatables in your water park such as floating iceberg, water slides and water trampolines, are a significant investment, so you always want to keep them last as longer as possible. Let's see to how to care and maintain appropriately.

1. Keep the inflatable water park games maintain a proper air pressure

It's very important to keep a proper level of inflation when your inflatable water park is still running. Under-inflation will make your inflatable structures flex more during use, which can cause the users discomfort and reduce the bounce height. And over-inflation can cause stress on the seams leading to leaks and permanent damage, sometimes even cause human injury. So the proper-inflation can not only provide an enjoyable use experience, but also more safe for users and equipment.

To keep your water park products maintain a proper inflation level, you need to check the air pressure regularly. Some inflatable structures may appear soft early in the morning, but they will expand once the sun warms them. Use a digital pressure gauge can be very helpful when checking the air pressure. If you find an inflatable water game that is under air pressure when in use, it's necessary to top up the pressure with a high speed inflator, without pulling the inflatable equipment into shore.

2. Keep your inflatable water park PVC fabric clean

After using a long summer season, the dirt, stains, algae and other contaminants may accumulate on your inflatable water units, you should keep an eye on them and clean regularly. A clean water park not only looks better, but also stops the surface friction damage and scratches, conducive to extending the service life. It's recommended to use a mild citrus soap such as Lemon Joy liquid dish soap. Do not use petroleum-based cleaners or those with pumice, because it may cause damage to the surface material. You can also use some special restorers and cleaners to clean the stubborn stains and brighten the surface. Check the formula first to see if the cleaner is suitable for your inflatable material.

3. Protect your inflatable against the UV

The UV is an important factor affecting the service life of inflatable products. Although the commercial material used to make floating water parks is initially treated with a UV protectant, the long term exposure to sunlight will damage the product. If you want your valuable inflatable aquapark last longer, it is worth investing in some UV protectant. Regular apply a UV protectant to the exposed surface of the inflatables in summer season can effectively ensure the lifespan.

4. Repair the damages as soon as possible

When you find a small damage on your inflatable floating structure, it's best to repair it immediately, because it may cause bigger damage over time. Regularly check and repair the handles, rings, straps, springs, mooring lines, ladders and other components to minimize further damage when wear or abuse creates damage or leaks. This process is pretty simple, but can help your entire water park perform well during the season.

5. End of the season maintenance and storage

When your inflatable aqua park close in fall, you need to take out all your inflatables from the water. Don't drag your inflatable units on shore, against docks or over rocks to avoid getting scrapes or pin holes. Before deflating, place the inflatable games on a flat and clean area, clean and allow to dry completely. Then use a high speed inflator/deflator or shop vacuum to remove all the air from the inflatable tubes. Fold the deflated tube in thirds then roll loosely. Put it in the special storage bag and store in a clean and dry place without direct sunlight. You can put some moth balls or dryer sheets to prevent damage from rodents when storing you inflatables in winter.
