1. Always find a backup indoor venue

If you originally planned to host your party and event outside, then you don’t have to be constrained by the limited space. So your party can be bigger, with more guests and more entertainment. That's your original plan. But if you find that you have to move your party inside because of the bad weather, you don't need to change your plan if you have a suitable indoor venue. Find a venue that fits you, don't fit around a venue. If you compromise to fit a smaller venue could mean that you have to change your original plan, such as cut down your guest list, cancel some inflatables rentals, or event change your special party theme entirely. That's not good for a great party! So we suggest you to do your venue research when making your plan. Take the autumn/winter weather into account and always have a backup plan.

2. Set up more movable inflatable rides

Some people may like to throw a kid's birthday party in the amusement park with a lot of mechanical rides. This is a good idea if the weather is good. But in autumn and winter, you should consider a little more portable entertainment so you can transfer then indoors when the weather gets worse. The inflatables are always your best choice. If your indoor venue has the necessary power outlets, sufficient space and suitable ground surface, a lot of fun inflatable equipment can be set up indoors, such as the bouncy castles, inflatable slides, interactive games and so on.

3. Take advantage of the seasonal themes

In autumn and winter, there are so many ways to create a special theme with the seasonal elements. In autumnal weather, you can use the brightly colored leaves in a range of orange, red and brown hues, decorate your venue with the autumnal vegetables like pumpkins and get connected with the Halloween theme. And in winterly weather, of course you can consider the Christmas theme. Find a snow machine, fill  the room with snowmen, snowflakes, inflatable Santa Claus and Christmas trees and whatever else you can think of. A seasonal theme will help you easier to plan a party and event in the autumn/winter season.

4. Well prepared if you want to stick to the original plan

If you are desperate to thrown your party and event outdoors in the cold autumn/winter season, you must be well prepared to make sure your guests will still have a great time. For example, you need to remind your guests that they will need a weather-proof clothing since the party is outdoors. According to the number of your guests, you should also keep sufficient stock of raincoats in case it start to rain. You can make a bulk buying online for a pretty cheap price. And don't forget to arrange some sort of sheltered area and offer hot food and drinks to keep your guests happy and make them forget about the colder weather.
