inflatable paintball bunkerThe series of inflatable bunkers are special designed for the paintball, speedball, lasertag and other shooting games. You can use these different pieces of air bunkers to design and create your unique paintball arena. They are durable, portable and made of high quality 0.6mm-0.9mm PVC tarpaulin in Sunjoy factory. If you are planning to or have purchased the inflatable paintball bunkers from Sunjoy Inflatables, please continues reading this manual to learn how to use the equipment properly to make them last more than 10 years for your business.

The structure of inflatable bunkers

Our inflatable bunkers come in a variety of different shapes and sizes, but the base structures are almost the same. You can find a plastic valve with protective shield and several anchoring loops on the inflatable unit, some large pieces even have the carrying handles. The fastening loops are designed for the normal ground, if you have special requirements on the anchoring, we can custom the water-filled bunkers for the solid surface. These models have an additional water compartment at the bottom, they don't require any other anchors for attaching to the ground.

Inflating the air bunkers

Like installing other inflatable bouncers, you need to carefully check the ground for stones, stumps, twigs or other sharp objects before you install the inflatable paintball bunkers. First, find the air valve on the unit, unsnap the protective shield of the valve, remove the plug on the valve and inlet your air blower like hand pump, foot pump or ordinary garden vacuum to inflate, when the bunker is fully inflated, turn the nipple clockwise to close the valve and install the plug and pull down the protective cover.

During the inflating process, you need to be careful to make sure there is no dirt or leaves around the valve. Watch the air pressure in the bunkers, if the temperature rises during the day or the units are used under the sunlight, the air pressure will increase so they don't need to be inflated too solid. In addition, a little soft of the bunker surface is good for paintball games, it will absorb the balls that hit on the surface so that the balls will not bounce.

If you are setting up a large inflatable blindage or blockhouse that consist of several parts, connect them with straps. Thread them through the special loops and use the knobs to tighten them until they are connected.

Filling up the water compartment

If the air bunker has a water-filled compartment, it's better to fill up the bottom first. Since the water will be heavy and hard for you to carry after filled, so you should fill the air bunker in the specific position where it's being installed in the paintball arena. Tilt the piece to find the water-filled valve at the bottom, this valve has no protective cover. Open the plug and use a hose to fill the compartment until it takes its shape. Watch the water pressure and close the valve to finish this process.

Fastening to the ground

After inflating the air bunkers and move to the arranged position, hammer a plastic or metal anchor in the ground next to the unit at a distance of 8-10cm from the attaching lug. Then connect the anchors and the attaching lugs of inflatable bunker with the elastic fastening loop. It's not recommended to use a metal cable or rigid ropes to connect the anchors and attaching lugs because this can lead to pulling out the anchors and damaging the material of the bunkers.

If you don't want to or can't use the plastic and metal anchors, you can use additional ballast weights like small sand bags for attaching the inflatables. Inflatable bunkers above 2.7m must be additionally fixed by the upper part with a cable through the entire platform or by stretching to the ground.

Take down and package

After use, you need to take down the air bunkers piece by piece, untie all the fastening ropes and detach the large equipment. If you want to get the inflatable cleaned, read this article to learn the cleaning process of inflatables. For air bunkers with water-filled compartment, open the corresponding valve to drain the water and squeeze out the remaining water by pumping air into the main compartment. The next step is open the air valve to deflate the air bunker, and fold it towards the valve to squeeze out the remaining air.

After deflating, cleaning and air drying the inflatable bunkers, you can fold them and package into the storage bag. And then store in a cool and dry place like storing other inflatables.
